How it works

Get started in 3 steps:

  • Step 1: Add your basic Sinking Fund information (goal, starting balance, saving period, etc).
  • Step 2: When you're ready, add money to your funds by creating a transaction.
  • Step 3: That's all you need to edit! The rest of the template is filled with automations that will provide useful information you can use to actually accomplish your goals.

2. The file will be a PDF that contains: a link to access the spreadsheet and full step-by-step instructions.

Do Google Sheets templates work in Excel?

No, Google Sheets templates are only compatible with Google Sheets and will NOT work in Excel.

Even though Excel and Google Sheets are both similar in some ways, not all the features and formulas are compatible with each other.

If you’re familiar with Excel you should be able to figure out Google Sheets in no time. The basic spreadsheet behavior is the same and all you need to get started is a FREE Google account. 

With the templates I created all you really need to do is fill out your information and follow the instructions to learn how to use the features included, so there’s really not that much that you need to know in terms of Google Sheets.

If you’re uncertain, you can always watch the demo videos linked in the description to make sure you will be able to navigate the spreadsheet and that it will be a good fit.
