How it works

Get started in 3 steps:

  • Step 1: Customize the template by making a list of the items you usually buy and the meals you usually prepare.
  • Step 2: Assign the items that should be added to your Grocery List automatically whenever you select a specific meal.
  • Step 3: Plan your meals for each day and watch as items are added automatically to your grocery list.

Other features included:

  • Combine multiple Weekly Grocery Lists into one.
  • Start your month on ANY DAY that you choose.
  • An automated Calendar View shows your Meal Plan for the month (perfect for printing).
  • Bonus! Mini Expense Tracker to keep track of how much money you spend on groceries during the month.

So Worth It!

I thought that I might make up a spreadsheet for myself, or maybe buy an app from the App Store. In the past, apps have lost support and not worked when a new phone came out. Creating a spreadsheet with great functionality was more difficult than I thought. That is why I looked into getting this spreadsheet that had all of the work done for me, and is perpetual. I found what I needed in this spreadsheet. It does everything I need it to do and more! I could not be more pleased! I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to organize their meal planning.

Such a smart spreadsheet that can do a lot of cool things for meal planning! Things are really customizable without a lot of complicated steps!

Still filling in

So far I am loving the entire thing. I am still filling in my items and playing this month as I go to learn it. Takes a while to fully set up but it already proving worth the purchase and saved time.

Exactly what I hoped for and more

I originally wanted to make my own perpetual meal prepping calendar myself. I realized pretty quickly I don't have spare time, nor knowledge to do it myself. This was very easy and straightforward. Highly recommend

Do Google Sheets templates work in Excel?

No, Google Sheets templates are only compatible with Google Sheets and will NOT work in Excel.

Even though Excel and Google Sheets are both similar in some ways, not all the features and formulas are compatible with each other.

If you’re familiar with Excel you should be able to figure out Google Sheets in no time. The basic spreadsheet behavior is the same and all you need to get started is a FREE Google account. 

With the templates I created all you really need to do is fill out your information and follow the instructions to learn how to use the features included, so there’s really not that much that you need to know in terms of Google Sheets.

If you’re uncertain, you can always watch the demo videos linked in the description to make sure you will be able to navigate the spreadsheet and that it will be a good fit.
