How it works

Get started in 3 steps:

  • Step 1: Customize your Ingredients, Commonly Bought Items and Meal Ideas.
  • Step 2: Plan your meals and input the ingredients you need for each day of the week. There are 5 sheets available, one sheet for each week.
  • Step 3: Watch as your grocery list is built, adding up quantities for repeated items.

What will you receive?

We have 4 kids. Meal planning has always been a chore. This makes it easier. And it's pretty, so that's a plus. Thanks for creating!

Love it! But

I love the Meal Planner and specific it that it can fit my needs, the only reason I give this a 4 star rating is because I wish that the Dish Ingredients list was broken down into Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner portions so you wouldn't have to keep on adding to a already long list of meals.
That way, if you needed to find a recipe to make a change, you wouldn't need to scroll through a long list, you could just go to that category and hopefully find it right away. Overall though, it has helped me immensely organizing my shopping trips!

Great planner worth the money

This is a great document to use. It has really helped us organizationally and financially. I think that it could use some tweaks for more persinal use but does exactly what I need it to.

Do Google Sheets templates work in Excel?

No, Google Sheets templates are only compatible with Google Sheets and will NOT work in Excel.

Even though Excel and Google Sheets are both similar in some ways, not all the features and formulas are compatible with each other.

If you’re familiar with Excel you should be able to figure out Google Sheets in no time. The basic spreadsheet behavior is the same and all you need to get started is a FREE Google account. 

With the templates I created all you really need to do is fill out your information and follow the instructions to learn how to use the features included, so there’s really not that much that you need to know in terms of Google Sheets.

If you’re uncertain, you can always watch the demo videos linked in the description to make sure you will be able to navigate the spreadsheet and that it will be a good fit.
